Surface Abandonment Proposal

Remote Cut & Cap
Pouce Coupe

01 — Project Area

Two-Area Footprint

A road-accessible staging area and a remote wellbore, linked by a short overland route that will be confirmed by Canlin's lease operator.

Staging Area

100/01-14-076-12 W6M

Road access

Canlin road-accessible location used for equipment offload, crew marshalling and trailer parking.

Remote Well

100/14-14-076-12 W6M

Cut & cap

Approximately 1.2 km north and 0.5 km west of staging. Conductor barrel present at surface.

Staging 01-14~1.7 km overlandWellbore 14-14

02 — Well Details

Wellbore & Configuration

Casing programme and surface conditions as provided by Canlin for the remote wellbore.

Surface Casing

244.5 mm x 53.6 kg/m J-55 surface casing to be cut below grade and capped to regulation.

Production Casing

139.7 mm x 23.1 kg/m K-55 production casing, cut concentrically in the same program.

Conductor Barrel

A conductor barrel is present and will be addressed as part of the surface cut sequence.

Site Condition

Photographs supplied are from 2020; the lease will be materially more overgrown today.

03 — Access

Field Access Scenarios

Four possible outcomes from the quad assessment. Each drives a different equipment spread and brushing scope.

1

Minimal Brushing

A narrow path can be woven into the wellsite with a small clearing immediately adjacent to the wellbore.

2

Significant Brushing

A path and a well-centre clearing must be cut to allow equipment and crew onto the location.

3

Portable

Access and wellsite are heavily treed, making a portable cut-and-cap system the practical option.

4

Brushing Crew

Ground access is feasible but a dedicated brushing crew prepares the route and wellsite beforehand.

Site photographs date from 2020

Vegetation will have advanced significantly. Access method, brushing requirements and schedule are confirmed only after the lease operator assessment is returned.

Lease Operator Assessment

Canlin is dispatching a lease operator by quad to confirm access.

Equipment Selection

The portable equipment spread is confirmed from that assessment.

Pricing Confirmation

Access scope drives brushing costs and final mobilization line items.

04 — Approach

Our Method

How a portable spread compares with a conventional access-first abandonment on a remote, overgrown lease.

06 — Assumptions

Assumptions & Conditions

The basis of estimate for this proposal, including access, schedule and operating conditions.

Access Method

Final access and brushing scope follow Canlin's lease operator assessment. Pricing is adjusted once the access method is confirmed.

Staging Area

Canlin's road-accessible location at 100/01-14-076-12W6 is used for staging, approximately 1.2 km and 0.5 km offset from the wellbore.

Rates & Surcharges

Rates are quoted without fuel surcharge unless otherwise directed. Standard daylight operating hours apply. There will be no overtime.

Estimate Basis

The project estimate is based on the units, quantities and rates listed in the supplied schedule, including mobilization and demobilization.

Site Condition

Photographs are from 2020. Actual vegetation and ground conditions will differ and may affect schedule and cost.

Regulatory Scope

Work covers surface abandonment — cut and cap — of the identified wellbore only. Downhole abandonment is excluded.

07 — Contacts

Contacts & Next Steps
